TMOS Spook Fest 2011

Guess what folks?  This year, Halloween was quite spooktacular for TMOS!

Why?  Because, members of the Employee Engagement Team organized Spook Fest 2011 which included a series of activities to make this past Halloween a memorable one.

1.        “Spook-O-Grams”:  TMOS staff purchased cookies (baked and beautifully decorated by our very own Marika) to give to fellow staff.   The “Spook-O-Grams” were distributed on Halloween morning and they were delicious.  What a special treat!!!

2.       Bake Sale:  Thank you to all of the bakers who donated cookies, squares, cupcakes and other types of goodies to help raise funds for United Way.

3.       Costume Competition:  What is Halloween without ghosts, goblins, witches and devilled eggs?!?  Congratulations to Allison who was voted best costume!  She cleverly disguised herself as a true “Devilled Egg”.    Allison won a $15.00 Subway Gift Card for her creativity.

Way to go TMOS! The “Spook-O-Grams” and bake sale raised over $660.00 towards United Way.  We should all be proud.  Perhaps we can make the Spook Fest an annual event?

A special thank you to those members of the Employee Engagement Team who organized it all: Marika Hendrickse, Megan Soper, Allison Wilson, Katie Ayoub, Ashley Viau, Rachel Cere and Anabela Rocha!    Also, thank you to our Spook Fest photographers Daniel Cardinal and Kim Perrault...more of their photos are available for you to view at

Please give us your feedback on our event… That’s what our “Suggestion Piggys” are for.

Your ideas count!

You may have seen this pig around the office lately…

The Employee Engagement Team is looking for your ideas on how we can improve our work place and services!

It’s as easy as 1-2-3!

Step 1: Take a moment to record an idea down on a piece of paper. You can choose to remain anonymous, or include your name in case we need more information.

Step 2: Find one of the “suggestion pigs” located at:

                      - The entrance of the photocopy room by the 5E stairwell or,

                      - The supply room next to the colour printer on 5W

Step 3: Place your suggestion in the TMOS Piggy!

All suggestions will be reviewed and considered for potential implementation depending on scope and complexity. Your Employee Engagement Team is committed to give you a voice! Let’s work together to enhance our workplace and make sure that we’re all heard!
