Two City Manager award nominations from TMOS

This year’s City Manager Award for Excellence drew 25 outstanding nominations and 2 of those nominations involved TMOS staff. Although they did not win the awards, staff supporting these projects were highlighted for their hard work and dedication!

Woodroffe Watermain repair - TMOS staff involved- Byron Hemlow, Chad Findlay, Jeff LaRocque, Jama Mohamed, Stephan Fortin and Mickey Mulligan.

Nomination was for the support and hard work of staff who responded to the Friday, January 14th, 2011watermain break on Woodroffe Ave. The team of staff were nominated for their quick and effective response to this emergency situation.

Liason Committee – Economic Stimulus Fund Project - TMOS staff involved – Greg Kent was a member of the committee but his staff were directly supporting the delivery of these projects – A special thank you to: Stephen Lyon, Scott Muir, Mickey Mulligan and Janice Prieur.

Nomination was for the collaboration and expertise of leaders from various City departments that propelled the City to rank in the top percentile in delivering the federal government’s Economic Stimulus Fund program.

The nominees and winners were announced at a special ceremony at City Hall on May 9.
